🌟 Celebrating Dedication and Love 🚶🏽 A Grandfather’s Walk for Autism 🌟
We at PALS Preschool are absolutely inspired and deeply grateful to James Caffrey, who championed the incredible Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage this August to raise funds in support of children with autism including his grandson who’s a student at our school. Despite waking up as early as 6am for gruelling training sessions at his local gym, James’ determination made each step possible on his way to the finish line!
The astounding commitment he showcased has resulted in raising €4,500 for our beloved preschool, supporting our mission and the children we serve. Though slightly delayed in making this post, caught up in the whirlwind of starting our new school year, our gratitude has been present all along and only grown stronger with each day.
Join us in applauding James for his love, dedication, and unwavering support. Together, we are making a difference! ❤️🚶♂️
Fundraiser Walk & Sea Dip!
👏🏽 PALS would like to extend a huge thank you and an even bigger congratulations to everyone who made the effort for Digital Realty's fundraising walk last Friday! Together, we walked 15km+ and then jumped into the sea to show that AAC is a journey and not a destination as part of our efforts to raise money for our students' communication devices! 🙊🏊🏽
That also includes Dolphin’s Barn fire station who were the first rest stop on our walk and helped us cool off with a splash of water! 🚒💦

📣 Partnership Announcement
We have incredible news to share with all of you! We are delighted to announce that Digital Realty will be partnering with us in our latest endeavour to bring communication devices to the children of PALS Preschool! On Friday, June 23rd, they will be organising a corporate charity walk and sea dip in support of the children at PALS who haven’t been able to access these devices in a timely fashion through the HSE. We are thrilled to invite not only our PALS families but also the wider community to join in support of this meaningful event.
The walk starts at 10:00 am at interxion Ireland DAC Unit 24 Hume Avenue, Park West Business Park, Dublin 12 D12YY88 📌 Come and show your support!
If we don’t see you there, you can alternatively consider showing your support of our students by contributing to the official fundraiser called 'Empowering Communication: AAC Devices for PALS Preschool' - https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/aacpals ✨
Your generous support will go a long way in helping our children access the communication tools they need 🥳
Donations Closed
Support our students with communication needs at PALS Preschool through our latest fundraising campaign. Many families face challenges accessing augmentative or alternative communication (AAC) devices due to a variety of reasons (e.g., overwhelmed government support systems). Let's help them take a leap forward in their communication journey by providing the AAC devices they need, sooner rather than later. Join us today!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Evan Barker, and Ben Bryan, for their instrumental roles in initiating and supporting this fundraising initiative. Their dedication and commitment are the backbone of our efforts to provide the essential tools our students need.
Our goal is to raise €10,000, and the fundraising period will run from May 26th to July 21st. With your generous contributions, we can surpass this target and make a profound impact on the lives of our students.
To donate and support our cause, please visit our fundraising page at https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/aacpals. Together, we can empower these extraordinary students, unlock their voices, and create a more inclusive and communicative environment.
Thank you for joining us on this journey of empowerment and for making a difference in the lives of our students.

A Special Visitor
We recently had a visit from the Irish Minister of State for Disabilities - Anne Rabbitte, TD who gave an overwhelmingly positive review of our services. Watch her discussion on Autism Policy where she states that "without the likes of PALS, we wouldn't be supporting children with autism in the earlier years" (Facebook, Twitter Broadcast). We extend our sincere gratitude for her outstanding support of Autistic children and their families!
